We thought some of our suppliers had bad stock management because off the delivery problems. But now a third supplier told us that we won’t get any briar pipes in the next three month, because his supplier does not have adequate briar at the moment.
The briar cuts were of too low a quality, too small and much too expensive for the bad quality. Finally they were able to acquire a batch , but the wood has to be air dried before it can be processed.
So what to do with three month without briar? We switched the material.
