We really put our supplier to the test because we didn't just want a pipe in the shape of a whiskey barrel; it also had to be adorned with the typical copper barrel bands used in the distilleries of fine spirits. Furthermore, we envisioned a huge reverse Calabash cooling system, of course with the obligatory 9mm filter option. Naturally, the pipe also needed to be a stand-up model, because you need to keep drinking in between. Oh yes, and no lazy compromises, please.
And now, our popular model is also available in an olive wood version.
A brief note on the naming: While the so-called Angel's Share is the portion of the whiskey that evaporates (or is shared with the angels), the Devil's Cut is the portion of the whiskey that is absorbed into the wood of the barrel (and shared with the devil). And now: Slainte!
Note: For maintaining the ring, we recommend a copper polish. To prevent discoloration of the wood during the maintenance process, you should tape off the shank next to the respective metal applications.
