Savinelli’s latest series bears the name Lunaria, derived from the Latin word luna for moon, and refers to the swirling shades of grey in the acrylic mouthpiece, whose interplay of colors subtly evokes the surface of the moon.
Viewed on its own, the mouthpiece conveys a sense of coolness and aloof elegance, an impression further emphasized by the inlaid metal ring. In combination with the warm bordeaux tone of the briar bowl, however, a striking and harmonious contrast emerges.
The five models are available in both rusticated and smooth finishes.
