Over the course of time we had lots of giants in our portfolio. Some of them are still established as classics: Chacom’s Monster pipes, the popular Peterson House Pipes, Savinelli’s EX shapes in the series Riviera and Mega and not to forget the beautiful ‘Coloss’ by Rattray’s.
But Molina’s new ‘Gigante’ shadows all the other giant pipes. It is very hard to find briar bowls in the needed size for such monstrous pipes. Marco Lisi, Molina’s mastermind, just said ‘No problem’ to our inquiry. We have been quite sceptical, but 12 month later we received the first pipes.
The waxed pipes are fitted with a beautiful zebrano application. The smoking duration of your new ‘Gigante’ varies with the smoker of course, the type of tobacco used plays a major part as well, but the gigantic tobacco chamber should bring you a minimum of two to three hours of smoking pleasure.
So, off to you favourite armchair and start relaxing!
