In Italy, there are three regions with a high concentration of pipe producers: the Livorno region, Lake Como, and the coastal city of Pesaro.
The latter is located on the Adriatic Sea, near the city-state of San Marino, the oldest republic in the world. Pipes from this region are often characterized by opulent ornamentation. Local workshops collaborate closely with silversmiths.
Alberto Montini, the owner of the workshop, has been a key figure in shaping this style for over 40 years. A lover of fine arts, he aspires to create true works of art in his workshop. With his new Rococo series, he demonstrates this ambition in an impressive way.
The Unica pipe, on the other hand, is a completely different story, as it was designed by the maestro according to our specifications. It is understated and subtle. Connoisseurs will appreciate its balanced proportions and the simple sterling silver ring. For those who prefer something more playful, we recommend the bicolor variations.
